Let me explain to you. Warner Bros is looking forward to making a film on pop songwriter, Dennis Lambert. The studio is planning to cast The Office star Steve Carell in the film.

The life story is an inspiration from Lambert’s documentary, Of All the Things. I known guys, you must be thinking that this documentary does not exist.

Well, you are right. This is an unreleased documentary. Due to the lack of distributors, this documentary didn’t turn up in the market.

Warner Bros. probably didn’t face a lot of difficulty in picking out Steve for a musical role, as he proved himself in the film 40-Year-Old Virgin and Dan in Real Life.

Now talking about the musician on whom the film is based, he is the man behind a number of successful songs including Glen Campbell’s ‘Rhinestone Cowboy’ and the Four Tops’ ‘Ain’t No Woman’.

He started his singing career in 1972 and he presented an album called Bags and Things. I know his album was difficult to understand. Anyway, who cares?
