For those, who keep on failing to bag an Emmy year after year, Emmy doesn’t remain Emmy anymore.

It becomes the ghost of Emmy, which comes to haunt them every now and then.

But this year, the ghost of Emmy was not able to scare the veteran actor Steve Carell, who had to return empty-handed six times (including this year’s loss)!

When Steve was approached before the results were announced, he stated that it would be great to hold the award after such a long wait. He also added that he is keeping his prospects low!

He went on to add that he is in the award function to make the best of it, and see the pals he has left behind with television series The Office.

Now, I don’t know what you will make out from his statements, but I think Steve doesn’t really care if he gets an Emmy or not.

I mean, he knows that he had a golden run on the show, and during his run he bagged Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series for The Office.

What more can one want?

While voicing his thoughts, he also added that the return of Michael Scott in the hilarious series seems improbable to him!

Watch out Steve! Well, your words are our command, but I would like to state that anyone who has ever seen The Office would love to see you back on the show. It’s good that we can still go online and catch your acts from the previous episodes. People love you Steve.

On second thoughts, I am glad you didn’t get scared by the ghost of Emmy this time.

You must be thinking who can say the words (in the title) to Ed Helms.

It surely cannot be anyone related to the television series, The Office, as the show doesn’t have any kind of stunts, for which such words can be said.

Ladies and gentlemen, though nobody has said those words out in the open, they may be echoing in the minds of Warner Bros. bosses.

The matter relates to The Hangover 2, for which Warner Bros. used a double to depict Ed’s action sequences and the double has been under treatment ever since the scenes were shot!

Scott McLean, the double, visited the court of law and reported that he suffered fatal injuries during the shooting of the sequence.

Now, I think if Scott has taken the pain to visit the court of law to voice the matter, he would, eventually, slap some compensation demand on the production firm.

We all know how these production houses hate to be muddled in things like lawsuits!

And because of the same reason, I think the bosses of Warner Bros. would be wondering that they should have let Ed do his own stunts!

Reportedly, the production team has stated that they are in close proximity with Scott and are offering assistance of all kind.

This entire Ed double trouble reminds me of the case involving Mike Tyson’s tattoo artist.

As far as I remember, he, too, was claiming for something.

Thank god, no such controversy is associated with Ed’s television series, The Office.

If there had been any, download of the past episodes might have been the only option for the admirers of The Office as the upcoming season may have had to collide with courts first.

Anyway, best of luck, Warner Bros!

It is always hard to say good-bye after having a glorious run but good-byes are bound to happen.

If Paul Lieberstein is to be believed, more hand waving will be seen inside the television series, The Office.

Paul recently reflected that according to him, more people from The Office would hang their boots, errr, yeah forever.

He stated that after the departure of Steve Carell, the show might see some more exits!

Well, Paul, it is rude of you to break the hearts of The Office fans.

I mean, wasn’t the exit of Steve enough that you are making such an awful prediction?

Paul stated that it is not that the show bosses are handing out pink slips or something.

It is happening on the free will of the actors.

Paul even went ahead to state that the show is glad to have such a talented team and that he would love to continue their relationships on a happy note.

Well, Paul, you did pacify the speculations making the rounds around the show.

The talented actor, who plays the character of Toby, insisted that the show would go on for The Office and it still has the firepower to carry on for a couple of years!

I am sure people would be ready to give a watch to The Office in the coming years. Though viewing on television sets may see a fall but online viewing will surely pick up, if trend is to be taken into account.

Paul went ahead and showered some kind words on the man, who has joined the team of the show recently.

Yes, I am talking about James Spader.

He stated that he brings electricity to the stage and his energy effects others in the show as well.

Well, that’s how James is and I am sure the upcoming season is going to be a great one.

Best of luck to all.

Firstly, I would like to clear the air about The Office.

I am not talking about the office in which James Spader carries his day to day work as it would make no sense why I would put my precious energy in something so banal and routine.

I am talking about the television series The Office where he has landed the crucial role of Robert California, the next big shot at Sabre-Dunder Mifflin.

Now, the selection didn’t happen the way it usually happens for such an important role.

I mean, no lengthy discussions were made, no interviews were done, no trials nor s**t!

It was plain and simple!

What? You don’t believe me?

Well, it’s not me who is speaking the words.

It is James himself!

The 51-year-old actor stated that things kicked off after he had a casual meet with Greg Daniels and Paul Lieberstein.

He further added that after the meet, he came to know about The Office folks having great fun while working and he was taken aback when the show bosses called to ask him about a role!

Now, this is not near to what I had to do for landing my job!

I had to go through seven bloody interviews and three mind-boggling written tests to get my first job and James just received THE CALL to get onboard!

James’s appearance in the season 7 finale got the ball rolling and voila! There it was, The Call.

The folks at The Office, James reminisces, told him to come and join them and to just enjoy their company, see how it goes from there.

In short, they meant no commitments, no demands.

And when the first scenes came in flesh and blood, the makers told him they want to just discuss the matters over!

As the time elapsed, James was ready to give it a shot for the whole season!

Well, these folks seem pretty good to work with. I think I need to make a download of the application form if there is some vacancy in The Office. (I wouldn’t mind sweeping!)

At least, I’ll make more money there

Perfection is hard to replace. Once people get addicted to it, they laugh off the others options even if they are offered with some additional discounts. The same happened when the search for a personality, to replace the character named Michael Scott, began!

The Office bosses felt the tremors as it was hard to find the perfect replacement. Names of Jim Carrey, Will Arnett, and Ray Romano came up during the selection process, but they were not convinced.

Steve Carell consistently gave such performances in the last seven years that it was becoming difficult to fill his big shoes. But in the end, the search process paid dividends as the perfect solution was finally discovered!

And it comes with the name of James Spader!

Yes, he is the one who would be filling the space left by the iconic Steve Carell, and if the word of mouth is to be trusted, he is the best man the show can manage.

It is being suggested that James will bring new firepower to the show as his character named Robert California will be the boss-with-a-difference!

The eighth season of the show is expected to hit the idiot boxes on 22 September of this year and James would sit on the chair of CEO for the Sabre-Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.

Insights into his role were given recently, which give an indication of the approaching things. James would soon be seen climbing up the organizational hierarchy at lightning speed and will soon occupy the top job in the company.

The brains behind the show are pretty excited to have James by their side as it offers a lot of scope for character building. His unusual sense of humor and lethal acting skills will surely take The Office by surprise.

Well, I am sure that James will force the masses to download the hopefully hilarious episodes of The Office as his performances will have a charm of their own.

Man, I can’t keep myself from jumping! (You see the kind of fan following the show has!)

James, welcome to The Office!

People suffered the shock of their life when they discovered that Steve Carell has found his 30-year-old son! Everyone knows that Steve is married to Nancy Carell and that they both have Elisabeth Anne “Annie” and John “Johnny” as their offspring.

As far as my memory goes, Elisabeth was born in the year 2001and she was Steve’s first child.

So, from where has this full grown man come up?

Did Steve checkmate Arnold Schwarzenegger in being a love rat?

Well, let me tell you who the son is. And the son’s name is, Ryan Gosling!

Yes, the actor Ryan Gosling!

Stop giving your scalps a hard time and read further to see how the whole thing pans out.

Recently, Ryan reflected that he is a great admirer of Steve’s work and would have loved to be born as his son!

Awww…that is cute!

I know I know…I nearly gave you guys a heart attack, but that’s the way I am.

Ryan and Steve are working together in a film project but this is not the reason why Ryan is showering praise on the veteran actor.

He didn’t hurl the kind words because he used to watch The Office. He suggested that he has adored Steve from the tender age of 17.

Ever since Gosling started his career, he had wished to share screen space with the actor and that is the reason why he went corny about Steve during the chit chat session.

The actor further stated that he was kind of in love with him.

Ryan, you went too far with this one. I don’t think Nancy would be giving Steve a warm reception after reading this! Nancy, it’s all father-son love, OK?

I watch The Office regularly by going online and I see how Steve weaves magic with his acting.

I, too, respect him and adore him but, unlike you, I don’t wish to be his son!

I am sorry.

That’s right!

When Matt Damon decided to go behind the camera, he could only catch sight of John Krasinski – The Office star – making faces in front of it.

Although that’s how it sounds like – like a Father Daughter Time – it will certainly be nowhere close to being that. (By the way, Father Daughter Time is the name of the movie!)

We had not thought about this, but let’s admit it! John is certainly many a directors’ favorite; Matt could certainly turn out to be a capable director. But, both of them together?

It isn’t that perplexing or incredible like I am trying to put it across. But what gives rise to a small amount of incredulity is ‘how John?’ No, we don’t remember them acting in any film together, although Matt had recently starred with Emily Blunt (John’s wife) in The Adjustment Bureau.

Well, the reassuring thing is that Damon would be bringing his years of experience (he has worked with some of the BEST directors in the industry) while directing, and Krasinski would bring the poignancy with which he worked in The Office.

The role Damon is offering him would give him lots of scope to come up with moments of charm, and we hope that there would be an element of humor as well in the film.

If you watch the installments of The Office (they are available online), you would certainly understand why Krasinski – two-time winner of the Screen Actors Guild Awards – would be anybody’s first choice.

He may not have a large number of films to back my point, but he certainly has a planet full of 140 episodes of The Office to put my proclamation as an understatement.

Nice time up ahead, guys!

If you’re stuck musing over the age-old question about ‘why men lie and women cry’, it’s time for you to re-think!

I am saying this because it was quite a reverse on the sets of The Office. Anyone who’s been watching the show regularly would know exactly what this is about – it of course, is about the most dreaded goodbye of the season, as Steve Carell wound up his last season on the show.

Even though we were sure that it wasn’t going to be easy for anyone, including his co-stars and the fans that download it religiously, to say goodbye to the ace actor; we didn’t have any idea that it would be this tough. The Office would never be the same again!

John Kransiki, Steve’s co-star for a long time now, talked his heart out about how difficult it was to part ways with this actor.

What came as a really surprising revelation was that these men actually shed tears, as Steve walked away!

Just when we thought that men never cried!

Talking of that dreadful day, John revealed that they had been evading the inevitable goodbye all day long, even though it was at the back of everyone’s mind. When the moment finally came, and before they knew it, they were all in tears.

After all, this was no ordinary cast member dissociating from the show! He was definitely the heartbeat of the show. More than that, it marked the end of some strong workplace ties that had formed between all of them.

In a way, it marked the end of one era, and the beginning of another.

As for Steve, it seems that he has a fruitful journey awaiting him, having already landed some enticing projects. He may soon have a reason for celebration, with his name in contention for an Emmy award for his role in The Office!

I consider it one of the saddest moments in the history of The Office, as Steve Carell is leaving the hit TV series, with four episodes still left in season 7.

Michael Scott, the manager he plays, has been one of the most memorable characters, and we would have a hard time forgetting him.

In another turn in The Office, Will Ferrell would be joining the super hit TV series, and will be with the show till season 7 finale. Whether or not he will replace Michael Scott as the new manager is something the upcoming episodes will clarify.

Is it really going to happen? Well, only The Office has guts and valor to put forth separate set of emotions, and still leave us contented. Seems like it’s really going to happen!

Steve Carell, in the course of seven seasons, has turned Michael Scott into a character that is much more than just a personality on a TV show that we timely look up at and entertain ourselves through.

His comic timing and ability to say things without really saying them can’t have a replacement. Or, it may just have! The creators of the show have planned to bring Will Ferrell in, who would be just as good as Carell.

And, if after all this upheaval, there is any space left to add some more drama, Ricky Geravis and Will Arnett will appear in the season finale, and would be seen vying for the managerial post!

An interesting set of turns, indeed!

The Incredible comedian, Steve Carell is done with the filming of his last appearance on The Office leaving a void which can never be filled on the sets of The Office.

‘The Office’ and ‘Steve Carell’- I’ve grown up, hearing these two names together and just can’t imagine the show sans this wisecracking man.

I know guys, after hearing this news, you must going through the same distress as I am, but chill out, since the show has got someone else to cushion the blow, albeit for a few episodes.

The humorous Will Ferrell has been roped-in to fill the void and is sure to leave us in stitches with his witty and satirical comic style.

Even though I have no doubts about Will’s potential as a comedian, but the fact is that no matter who replaces Steve Carell, he’ll always be missed by his fans. The man, who single-handedly made the audience laugh till their sides ached, can’t be forgotten for years to come.

Talking about Steve’s farewell, he recently shot his final episode and took leave from the cast members. The creators of the series promised that since the episode marks the grand exit of a legendary comedian, it will be a classic experience that will always remain etched in the memories of his fans.

Steve’s departure was such an overwhelming moment for everyone on the set that they were moved to tears while shooting the last segment. Shortly after the filming, Rainn wrote on his Twitter account that it was a moment when the kings of comedy themselves wept.

Well, at the end, all can I say is that we viewers are left with a mixed bag of emotions. We’re heartbroken over Steve’s exit, but at the same time, we’re also excited to watch his last episode that’s slated to air on April 28th.

Let’s see whether it turns out to be a jolting shock or a pleasant surprise!
